A Time of Change

Moving from an established denomination to an independent church, VitaChurch was undergoing a time of immense transition and the organisation needed a way of navigating the change well. With only a name finalised at the time the project began the challenge was to chart a way forward that both respected and defined who they were and the bold future they were stepping into.

The Flame of Hope

The rebrand was driven by the hunger and heart of this small but mighty group of Christians seeking revival. Not content with acting as a nominal church, Vita seeks God’s power and presence, embodied through the ‘V’ flame that infuses communications with gusto. From its honest, jargon-free tone of voice the brand adopts a slab serif typeface to tell its message and in a manner that is unfussy, fun and grounded.

I have found working with Michael extremely easy.  As our first journey into the creative process, we had some loose idea of what we wanted as the end result, without any real clues as to how to get there. Michael scoped for us a set of choices and options to get us started, and led us through the complex world of rebranding. The process was seamless and his approach utterly professional, and he worked very hard to give us the result we were looking for.
