Tear Times

Tear Times is Tearfund’s triannual supporter-facing magazine that showcases the transformative work undertaken around the world. As one of the main supporter communications sent out nationwide, Tear Times holds a high benchmark of quality, featuring multiple nation versions of the magazine on top of direct mail elements. Collaborating as part of an in-house team, I undertook the lion's share of the design work for its spring 2023 edition.

Stories of Transformation

This particular issue featured a mixture of challenging and uplifting stories, including the hunger crisis in East Africa, and peace rallies in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Across each spread I sought to not only represent the reality of these stories but also further the reader’s emotional connection to individuals such as Jackson and Bahati.
